If you go to hp's website and type in your printer model name and number, it'll take you to a site with complete info for it--user manuals, FAQ's, not to mention driver downloads. Surf over now!

Thats an old printer. HP promises an replace application, the position u can deliver it back and get a sparkling printer for more low-priced value. Come on guy, get replace ordinary. DJ 640 printer isn't any the position in the marketplace.

Contact Hewlett-Packard. There should be a physical address or an email address in your operator's manual - there may even be a 1-800 customer care number. Let them know that there is/was no disk with your printer, would they be kind enough to send one to you.

Hope this helps

Windows has a generic printer drive that works for most models. Go: start menu ... control panel ... printers (or "printers and faxes") ... add new printer.

download the driver from the website. It's usually free.
