why isn't my lexmark printer uninstalling??

Im trying to install my new hp printer, but everytime i try to uninstall my lexmark all in one X1185 printer it won't uninstall. what do i do??

delete the printer driver and program files manually.

u can install and use ur new hp printer without uninstalling ur lexmark driver. But if u want to unistall ur lexmark driver try to goto start-->control panel-->add/remove program-->then remove the lexmark program...

call lexmark tech support. here's the number: 1-800-332-4120

lexmark's are a horrible horrible thing they are so bad its incredible they still are around. also when you call them tell them to get it off of your print spooler too b/c if that is still there the hp wont be printing at all, no printer will actually. so i hope that helps.

1st check to see if it has an unistall program and use that.

If not use the add and remove program to remove it.

If that is not successful, do a search for the printer and all its files and delete them that way.
