The IP Address for that may be determined by DHCP on LAN systems, so Assuming your on a lan. you can try a couple things to find it out.
1. If your on a wireless router (and so is the printer) on some routers you can find out from them.
1.1- Open your internet explorer and in the address bar type in your Default Gateway. (usually 192.168.0.1) (dont put .com or anything either)
1.2- Find an area that has the devices listed (might be on its own page like LAN Devices.
1.3- If you cant find it, look under a "Status" tab of some sort.
2. Really the first thing I'd try if 1 wouldn't work is google up an app that would find it for you.
2.1- Luckily for you, I did this for you. heres the link http://www.radmin.com/products/utilities/lanscanner.php (ill place a direct link in the source area)
2.2- Install the program, (its really small)
2.3- Launch the program, It'll bring up a explorer with it, or you can find it in your start menu
2.4- Just hit "Scan" and it'll scan all the IP Addresses in your SubNet range.
3. Googling a link scanner for other Operating systems (other than windows)
3.1- Well since you didn't tell me your Operating system, heres one thats compatible with all of them
3.2- Download it here. http://sourceforge.net/projects/ipscan/ then when your on the page click "Veiw all files" next to the download button.
3.3- Download your operating systems version, install, run, and scan
Final Note:
I hope this helped someone, and these methods can be used for finding other computers too.
I've never actively needed either of these but I did try them out before I posted this, and they worked just fine. but I dont need them since most of my network is done with Static IPs
