Hi, I did a cold reset (hold down the go button for at least 5 seconds when the printer is power on).

I tried these default password with no user name : "blank", password, Password. Nothing works!
I can 't find any official HP document that mention it.

Any idea?

Just go to this website and enter your email. They will send it to you

Edit....there is a password and if you go to the site I suggested, yuo can reset it by letting them send you the password. some ppl give you thumbs down without investigating if the answer is right. Give me a break. I am offering free help. It shouldn't warrant a TD.

I'm curious as to what you're trying to do or access. as the HP Laserjet P2015DN does not have a default web password, or a web password at all unless a network administrator has set one on the network, in which case you probably will not be able to reset it by doing a cold reset. To make sure you're performing the cold reset correctly:

1. Turn off the printer.

2. Press and hold the Go button.

3. Turn the printer on, and continue to hold the Go button for at least 5 seconds, but not longer

than 15 seconds (go for 10 seconds to make sure you're past the 5 second minimum). During this process, the Attention LED turns on.

4. Release the Go button.

The following only works if your printer is connected to a network using the built-in network interface.

To open the embedded Web server, type the IP address or hostname of the printer in the address field of a supported Web browser on a computer on the network. To find the IP address or hostname of the printer, print a Configuration page at the printer by pressing and holding the Go button (with the printer on) until the green light blinks, then release.

If you're trying to set the serial number, then you need to send a command instruction set thru the USB cable connected to a local computer, this is where you'd use the name HPBOISEID in the text to access the service mode function to set the available options.

Best of luck.

Edit: There is no password. I have the service manual, I work on these printers & have never needed any password, nor can I find any reference for one. T-bar needs to heed his own advice and investigate his own answer. His link is for a printer supplies website, not a printer support website, and the password request link given is for your account password for the website, not any printers.

examine the paper direction to confirm the place your printer is jamming. Printer jams may be problematical, and the 1st direction of action while they take place could be to confirm the place the paper is jamming. If paper is jamming because it exits the tray, possibilities are high the rollers have worn gentle and could might desire to get replaced. If the paper is jamming on the left facet of the printer, the fuser might might desire to be reseated. If the jam happens on the the suited option facet, the toner cartridge won't be put in exact. examine the point of your toner cartridge or inkjet cartridge if the print high quality is unfavorable. collectively as you may get carry of a pop-up message or a administration panel message while the point of ink is low, this won't continually take place. If the print seems to be diminished, it somewhat is a stable concept to place in a sparkling toner cartridge in case you have a laser printer or a sparkling print cartridge in case you have an inkjet or image printer. exchange the fuser cartridge if the print is rubbing off the paper. The fuser is what makes the print save on with the paper, and if that fuser is undesirable the print won't adhere exact. to change the fuser cartridge, pull open the left door, turn down the clips that carry the fuser in place, pull the cartridge out and replace it with a sparkling unit.
