This printer which is connected to my laptop by USB is not working. I have restarted spool services, uninstalled and re-installed the HP drivers. At the end of the re-installation process, HP asked me if I want to print a test page. I did and to my surprise it worked. However, when I tried to print a file from notepad it did not work. I also tried printing the test page from the control panel method which did not work. All the pages would be stuck in queue and it would show error: printing. I need any help that I can get. Thanks.
I ran the HP and Windows troubleshooting and they both said everything was fine.
I got this from the test page printout:
Port Name: USB001
Data Format: IMF
Driver name: sdhp2600.dll
Data file: SDhp2600.SDD
Config file: suhp2600.dll
Help file: SDhp2600.CHM
Driver version: 0.03
Environment: Windows x64
and etc.
I can add the rest if it will help

Check your printer setting and also check the USB cable.

Try clearing all jobs

Run this Microsoft Application to clear the print queue.

It takes about 10 seconds

This will clear all pending or unwanted

documents that have already been printed

and needs to be removed.

It can also help resolve many printer problems

Select step 2 : Use a troubleshooter

Now click Fix it, then run

once you put in the hot ink did you do the habitual stuff your meant to do after setting up,like align cartriges, sparkling nozzles&sparkling heads.ideal hand click on printer, printing techniques then sevice this printer, try those steps formerly having it repaired, those steps in many cases artwork.oh another element did you're taking the sparkling plastic off the backside. each and every so often all it desires is a solid cleansing with the stairs above.
