My Macbook is not printing on my Sharp MX2700G Printer?

I am having a printing problem with my Mac book pro. The computer is pinning but it is not printing to the Sharp MX2700G printer. The printer is connected to a network.. it used to work fine but all of a sudden it stopped printing. When i called sharp, they said i need to buy a need to buy the software. Can someone please help me find the software over the internet or help me find a simple solution to this problem????? please its so urgent

Try plugging the printer directly into your MacBook. If that works, you have a network problem, if not, a printer or driver problem. I doubt you need new software, unless you updated something else.

Maybe it is not installed to your Macbook.
