My printer an HP Officejet Pro K5400 keeps saying it's out of paper. It won't print any of my documents. It's not out of paper and it will print all of HP's stupied BS pages and test pages but not my docs. Even though it pulls a sheet of paper through it to print out the HP pages it's says it's out of paper and won't print. I can't get through to HP tech supt. live chat and they want me to pay for phone tech supt. It's their product and it's a BS error and they won't fix it. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem? I have tried reseting it, unplugging it nothging is working.

>Any of the following issues can cause the error message to appear:

>The paper trays are empty or overloaded.

>The paper is curled.

The print side, or shiny side, of the paper is not loaded in the input tray face down.

>The paper might not be engaged with the feed rollers.

>The paper-width guide is pressed against the paper stack too tightly.

>The paper tray is not completely inserted into the product.

>The paper settings in the print driver do not match the paper loaded in the paper tray.

>The rubber paper-feed rollers are coated with dust.

Have you tried re-booting your system. After resetting and replugging, the computer may not be seeing the printer. shut down the system, and reboot - see what happens.
