I have tried every solution in my user guide, to install this printer on a mac for wireless use it recommends connecting via USB to setup the printer for wireless connection from there. Once all the network id is sorted etc. it then installs the drivers etc. on my mac, then after this process a window comes up to select the wireless printer and it never shows up? I have previously installed this printer connected via Ethernet cable as I had given up trying to get it to connect wirelessly, but even with the printer wired to my access point it doesn't wake up if I send a document, my printer queue says the printer is offline, then if I close my macbook and open it, it prints!! it's even printed before in the middle of the night randomly! when I purchased the printer I bought 2, 1 for the office and 1 for home, the office 1 is great on a windows network with 5 computers having access to print to it, but with my home setup of a mac it is a complete nightmare! I was considering if it has anything to do with my firewall set up on either mac or home network? I have 1 router at the front of the house (sky broadband router) and 2 routers going down to the back of the house and 1 in a separate building, I configured these as wireless access points to extend the home network, would I have to consider configuring the ports on these access points? the access point in question is a Belkin mimo wireless G router. Many thanks in advance for your advice.
