I had an HP psc 1315 on Windows XP which I adored but it one day started blinking and after going around in circles with HP techs and ppl from all over the net, maybe it's time to give up? If you think it's worth another diagnostic shot, please tell me. If not, REALLY need a good recommendation for the following: An ALL-IN-ONE printer that is A.) Under $70 B.) known for reliability/long life C.) < $25 for ink D.) uses ink economically E.) print/photo quality at least a 3.5 / 5. I have to exchange a Christmas gift and I want to be informed =D

Don't forget to take the warranty as well as cost of ink into account. The winner in both categories is Epson. It pays to spend a little more for a printer with a great warranty and free ink.

The best deals in photo printers are the Epson Artisan series direct from epson.com with full 2 year warranty starting at $99 with free shipping. These are wireless copier/scanner/fax/photo/CD printers with 6 individual ink cartridges for high photo quality. The best warranty in the industry. For two years, Epson will fedex a replacement and pick up the old one should you need it. I bought 3 Artisan 800 refurbs for myself and 2 neighbors, one of whom is a professional photographer. It's an awesome machine!

Triple capacity reusable ink cartridges for Epson are under $3 and you can get 20 free cartridges every month at http://www.ccs-digital.com/free-epson-ink.asp I've been getting my ink free for over a year.

Be careful with the latest epson printers. They use a brand new cartridge (T125) which you will have a hard time finding compatibles for. Unless you enjoy paying about $70 to replace your cartridges, stick to a printer which uses T069, T078 or T098, such as the Artisans.

I'm not sure you'll find anything decent under $75. Just bought an HP J4680 All in One with Wireless. It prints nice, lets all computers in the house use the same printer, and is easy to use. Setting up the wireless was kind of a pain, but no other complaints. Got it at Sam's Club for $89 with both black & color ink included. Refills are $24 color, $15 black or $35 for large (3X) black.

HP Photosmart Wireless e-All-in-One Printer w/ ePrint Mobile Printing and Airprint http://www.walmart.com/ip/HP-Photosmart-Inkjet-Printer/13989329 or Canon PIXMA MG5220 Wireless All-in-One Printer with Full HD Movie Print & Mobile Printing http://www.walmart.com/ip/Canon-Pixma-MG5220-All-in-One-Printer/15042568

Either of those 2 ALL-IN-ONE Printer's would be the best to buy.
