Your settings for the printer are probably high. You could be printing on high detail. Try changing the setting to normal or low and it will print much faster.

Just an idea, your print quality settings might have something to do with it.

You said the text still prints fast but any image of any size causes your printer to print slow. If your quality settings in the printer settings are set to High or your paper quality is not the correct one, this can cause a slow down in production time.

there are a lot of solutions as to why a printer could print slow - drivers, usb ports, and so on. yet whilst the laptop and printer are new, then touch your vendor and clarify, or use a help line in case you have one. If not, then take the kit deal lower back to the save. that isn't sturdy adequate. My old daisy-wheel grow to be miles speedier than that on an old Atari! (i ought to bypass on with reference to the features of Vista, yet I won't!)

Cuz you might have set up the printer to print out pictures at "BEST/HIGHEST QUALITY", and so, your printer takes time to do it, it happens to a lot of printers.
