printer spooler has stopped working?

Question

i can normally fix problems like this but this is just being stupid lol.....i have a cannon series pixmar MP220 printer and when i try to install the printer..it pops up saying printer spooler has stopped working....i have windows vista ultimate 32bit

Go to Start / Run and type in "services.msc" without quotation marks, then press Enter or click OK.



In the window that opens (Services) look for "Print Spooler" on the right



Right-click "Print Spooler" and select "Properties".



Click on the "Recovery" tab and change all 3 drop-down boxes to "Restart The Service".



Make sure the 2 text boxes underneath say "1" in them.



Click Ok until you are back at the Services window, close it and you're good to go.



Go back into the properties of the "Print Spooler" tab and be sure to click Start to restart the Print Spooler service and it will restart the service immediately.



The Print spooler depends on the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service. Is this service disabled? Go to services.msc look for RPC. Check state: Automatic

hi, I not up on Vista, i take advantage of xp, notwithstanding, flow back to the centers app, scroll to print spooler, with any luck once you good click print spooler, there will be a residences to click on, click residences, then seem to work out if there's a dependencies tab, if there is click dependencies watch for a catalogue to seem, what ever seems make confident those dependencies are enabled/began on your centers checklist, make an commentary of the dependencies if there is extra beneficial than one to enable etc, see if that works for you, any incorrect way could be to obtain the latest driving force from hp for vista, and supply that a flow if the dependencies does not artwork for you. wish this enables .
