We recently moved to a new house, and today I set up my printer to print a document. Printer status keeps coming up as "Printer not responding." I went to Canon's website and per instructions I updated the driver, tried all three A ports on my computer, and restarted my computer. Nada. Does anyone have any other advice? Thank you!

Sound like a network issue. I have 3 different programs for my MX860. Go to start, open the Canon folders and the one called network may have the fix. You can call Canon customer support, they have never charged me when I call.

My CANON printer was also not responding, I tried a lot to fix that but unable to fix. At last I got this link http://www.printer-techsupport.com/Canon-printer-support.html I just visited and made a call on their toll free. I got instant help from a certified technician to fix my printer.

Move cable usb in other usb port and try to print again. Often, USB ports fails without reason.

Good luck !
