witch is the cheapest ink jet printer to run and wye. i was thinking about a hp what do you think. are they any good are they reliable. i want good photo prints. what are running costs like. what about the hp c5180 someone said they have one of these and its cheap to run' is this true they told me that there father prints 25- 6x4 photos a week and after 6 months they only had to replace the yellow and blue out of the 6 cartridges...is this true or wish full thinking on my part. have you any suggestions what do you recommend. i like the hp.s because the heads are mounted on the cartridges so if they get blocked you just replace the relevant cartridge what do you think. i have an epson at the minute but i find the heads always get blocked after a bit of use. i would like an all in one Without fax. what do most people out there recommend an wye. i was offered a hp c5180 for 100 euro. has any body had trouble with these if so wye. were can you bye the cheapest ink for this printer Original ink that is because i under stand that hp printers don't work well with other third party inks. any answers that would help would be great

Here is a great list of all in one printers that you may want to check out:

I have an HP and always use third party ink - I have never had a problem with it. The print outs are always crisp.

HP Inkjets are very reliable, but not very feature friendly. They are generally the most expensive to operate as their ink costs run much higher. The least costly these days seems to be the newer Kodak printers, but I've got no personal experience with them.

I've had very good luck with Canon and Epson IJ printers for years. I buy them as they have replaceable ink tanks and thus generally lower operating costs. I am surprised to hear you have had problems with plugged heads. Even though I do not use my printers more than once a week, I have never had a head problem in 5 years!

I believe you are asking can you put different colour inks in your printer other than the prime colours, well, you can but you would not pleased with the end result,. if you are say a different cartridge to the printer make then Jet Tec do an excellent range of printer cartridges

Witch printers suck and should be burned at the stake, so no, they are not the best.
