Just follow the setup procedure for a wireless connection, and install the drivers.

then use the scanning software provided by canon

also check the support section in the canon website

Hi David, thank you for answering.

I did all the procedures above.

After I run the scanning software provided by Canon, this message comes out:



"Cannot communicate with scanner for these reasons:

- Scanner is turned off.

- USB cable is disconnected.

Please check and try again.

Code: 15,156,0."



I am able to scan properly once I connect with USB cables.

For printing, I am able to print wirelessly without any problem.



I wonder if this type of printer only able to do wireless printing, but not wireless scanning..

Make sure that the printer is turned on. Press & hold the [Wi-Fi] button on the top of the printer until the alarm lamp flashes once. Make sure that the lamp next to this button starts to flash blue and then go to your access point and press the [WPS] button within 2 minutes.
