ofcourse it work because Dell computer have the same operation system 95/98/me/2000/xp and all the operation can work with HP printers, but u must install the right drivers

I have a Dell and I am using my HP Apollo 2200 with it and so far so good. I will admit though that it gave me a hard time trying to connect, but I'm not sure if I was the problem or if the computer or printer was being difficult.

Yes, you can use virtually any brand.

Yes. The HP printer will come with a CD with drivers on it for Windows XP (which is what I assume you're running). As long as it's XP, it won't matter what the hardware is.
