I have a Canon Pixma ip 1500 Printer that wont print red.I have cleaned the print heads several times and put new colour inks in.Any ideas as to whats wrong

go to start menu => printers and faxes

choose the ip prixma printer icon and right click with mouse

choose properties (last option in menu)=> maintenance then click on deep cleaning and then on ink reset



try to print a test page , it should solve yr problem

Check to see if you have removed the piece of tape that is covering the air way, but do not take off the label completely, it is normally just a small piece at the rear off the cartridge, if you don't remove it it will cause a n air lock.

It does sond like a faulty printer. Contact Canon in the country where you are.

Sounds like you have done everything right so far, I would take it back to the place you bought it from and see if they can help.



Also check you have the right printer cartridge

contact canon directly and ask them if they know of this problem and how to remedy it
