I have a USB Print Server, 1-Port [ GPSU01 ] IOGear and an HP 1410 PSC printer. I have not been able to get this to work on my network yet. According to the docs for the print server this printer will work fine. I have installed the software and the computer sees the print server fine, I have installed the printer software several different ways. Will not print eventhough under the properties for the printer it's using the print server address.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
John

least complicated way could be to get a on the spot print server and fasten it on your router - the two nonetheless a cable or wirelessly. That way you workstation does not even would desire to be switched on! i exploit 2 of those in my abode for 2 diverse printers in diverse rooms. Works completely. Belkin, Linksys, Dlink, Netgear all sell them. Belkin have at present stopped advertising their greater fee-effective one (around $30) for a greater complicated on the spot USB hub that's around $a hundred. you may in all probability nonetheless discover the $30 belkin print server on line.
