... copied from another Yahoo user (I found the Answer but couldn't respond):

I've just bought an HP C7280 printer. When I try to do two-sided printing I get the error "Automatic two-sided printing module missing". I have seen various references to this error on the Internet but no one seems to have an answer to the problem. Although I CAN print two-sided by simply clicking "Print" when this error is displayed, it is annoying to have to clear this each time I print. HP dosent seem to have an answer - in fact they have taken back one printer from me thinking this may be a h/w fault and replaced it with a new printer!! But the problem persists. I would be curious to know if anyone has been able to resolve the problem. Could it be a tweak to a registry setting? Thanks.

In simple terms:

(1) Uninstall the printer drivers

(2) Reinstall using the USB cable option (remember to wait until the software prompt before plugging in the printer)

(3) Reinstall AGAIN (no uninstall this time) using the wireless option (you will end up with two copies of your driver)

(4) Go to printer properties for the USB printer and change the port from USB to TCP/IP. This will be your default printer.

(5) Keep the wireless driver. You need this driver installed so that you can scan documents.

HP really needs to fix this.
