My Canon printer will not print with Windows 8?

Question

I bought a new computer with Windows 8. I plugged in my Canon MP 150 printer. The computer recognizes the printer and has the drivers. The printer properties show the printer is ready. When I try to print I get an error message and printer malfunction. Windows troubleshooting gives me no tips (it actually says "ask a friend"!!).

go to canon website and download the drive for windows 8

Just another problem with Windows 8. I'm not your friend so I don't have an answer but if you contact Canon's customer service they should be able to help you.

Go to canon website and redownload the driver there.
