my mother is having a party and wanted to print slips to give the neighbours warning them of the noise before hand, she had tried to print it and she tells me something went wrong. i go to print it again and it doesnt come out, i go to the area in my computor to see what is printing and one is paused, so i cancel it in order to print the new version (the other was assuming my mothers mistake) however it will not delete, it has been dsaying deleting next to it for over an hour yet another that was there deleted in under a second, obviously she had caused an error which cannot be deleted (atleast to my knowledge) is there anyway to delete it or atleast put the printing i want to do before the error, this is the second time she has caused this to happen now, im not allowing her on my pc anymore haha. (i had to uninstall the whole printer stuff and install it again last time, but im hoping there is an easier way) i use windows XP, and the computor is hp psc 1310. she says all she did was press print, which is obviously a lie because it was working effectively before.

Just right click on it and go to the properties, security tab and take ownership of it.

After you have ownership, give yourself full rights to the printer and delete it.

You might also want to stop the Print Spooler and go out and clean your printers folder.

Go into your task manager and select the Services Tab at the top.

Then at the bottom select the box that says Services.

Scroll down the list until you see PRINT SPOOLER. Highlight the PRINT SPOOLER by clicking on it and the in the left column select STOP THE SERVICE. This will stop the print spooler and clear it. Restart the Print spooler.

on the lower right of your monitor there's a printer icon on it, click the printer icon you can see the printing jobs you made from it. then right click the mouse and delete all the files.. restart your printer and pc too.

She may have clicked print more than once.

This Microsoft Application will fix that problem. Just click Fix-it
