Question:
How can I print onto WAX PAPER using an EPSON PRINTER? Can I even do so?

My jerk-group for a school-project gave me the "honors" (More like forced) of making the t-shirts. (They also said they would but them. Sure thing, leave it to me!). So I ain't going to a Joann's or craft store and spending a crab ton of money on some transfer paper for some people who aren't doing shiz.
So, I am trying out wax paper. Of course, my all-so-kind group said "Ay. Bring them in tomorrow." So not only am I going to rat them out but I'm also just going to use wax paper. Problem is; my Epson printer will not take in the wax paper. Is there any way I can fix this problem?

Transfer paper actually isn't all that expensive. Clear transfer paper can even be under five dollars.

Can't do it. Just try some water color or food color on wax paper and you'll understand. See if you can fit two of your text/images on one sheet of transfer paper and cut the cost in half.

Not going to work as a replacement for transfer paper. Now, even if you could print on it, then the problem occurs. The heat of the iron will start melting the wax and defeating the purpose.

The answer is that you cannot print on wax paper at all. Think about it... you are spaying liquid ink onto a sheet of wax. It will just run and smear and smudge, you won't get anything recognizable out of the printer. Inkjets work on the principle that the printing stock will absorb the ink, not let it run.

The only way to transfer an inkjet printed image to a t-shirt is to use inkjet transfer paper. If there were some other way, there wouldn't be any use for inkjet transfer paper.

I would just get some dollar store generic sharpie markers and draw whatever it is you are supposed to do for these t shirts.

You are complaining about the cost of printable iron on transfers, but they are cheap compared to the price of inkjet cartridges. Replacing the inkjet cartridge(s) typically costs $20-$50+.

Please answer to the question, and not "Man, don't make those t-shirts if they're being jerks." I got that covered. Thank you all!! <3
