I am trying to reinstall my Epson Stylus CX3810 on my computer but every time I plug the USB cable in, I get the USB Device Not Recognized error message.

I have tried to shut down and unplug the PC and restart it after a few minutes but that didn't work. Then I tried to unplug the printer's power cable while it was still connected to the PC by USB but that didn't work either. Any suggestions?

My name is Syd and I work for Epson America, Inc.

From your description, Windows is having problems finding the correct driver. Depending on the version of Windows the driver may be built in, downloaded using Windows update, or downloaded from the Epson website. At this point we recommend contacting technical support directly and they can walk you through the procedure. The direct number is 562-276-4382.

Here to help,
